Building Access Controls for Intelligent Environments

Projects involving the investigation and construction of Intelligent Environments have had reasonable success in demonstrating their potential applicability in the real world. However, most of these efforts pay little or no attention to their security and privacy implications. These are key issues that need to be addressed in order for Intelligent Environments to be deployed broadly. In this paper we present an approach towards addressing the issue of access controls within the Hyperglue platform for constructing Intelligent Environments.
